When are we God’s beloved children?

Wonderful people in Christ, God has given us the wonderful gift of enjoying His love. Not many have the gift, only a very few. When we feel like we are no longer part of the covenant in Christ, do we lose the favor ground on which we stand?
There will be times when we are not filled with the Holy Spirit, our spirit will feel weak; we will feel guilty for not being a joy we used to be; we will miss the words of faith we used to speak; we will feel sad for not leading the day gladly through His grace; we will worry about small things that we used to overlook; we will lose the courage that gained us admirers; we will whine like a child missing love and we will hope that the day ends soon.

In spite of all the uncertainties of the day, the one thing that will stay certain is the Love of God.

“Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death?  No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.

Nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:31-39

Stand fast in His love. Let our spirit rejoice in the truth, we are still God’s Beloved Children.

“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.” Matthew 7:24-27

“So since we are receiving an unshakable kingdom, let us give thanks, and through this let us offer worship pleasing to God in devotion and awe.” Hebrews 12:28
